The story of Clos du Cèdre has its origins in Scotland, in Glasgow, where we lived in 2016. It was during our stays in the warm Scottish Bed & Breakfasts that the desire to create our own boutique hotel emerged. A place where authenticity, hospitality and refinement would meet to offer a unique experience to our future visitors to Brittany.

After leaving Lille, our journey took us to Dinan, a medieval town with an exceptional heritage. For several months, we explored the region in search of the ideal location, until we fell in love with this exceptional residence. Nestled in a verdant setting in the heart of Dinan’s historic center, it was an obvious choice.

For almost two years, surrounded by our families, friends and craftsmen, we have undertaken the complete renovation of this building to restore it to its former glory. Every stone, every nook and cranny has been carefully thought out to combine the cachet of yesteryear with modern comfort. The result is Clos du Cèdre, a haven of peace dedicated to the art of entertaining.
