Accueil chaleureux, chambre magnifique, décoration soignée et de qualité jusque dans les moindres détails, mêlant avec beaucoup de goût le charme de l’ancien à des touches contemporaines, et dans le respect de l’identité de la région. De très beaux échanges avec Xavier, le propriétaire, attentif et sympathique, qui a pris le temps de nous faire découvrir l’histoire de ce lieu et les différentes étapes de la rénovation : un régal ! Literie très confortable, propreté, environnement calme et hébergement idéalement situé, à deux pas du centre, avec une place de stationnement prévue. D'abord par son emplacement - au cœur de la vieille ville de Dinan, sur les hauteurs, et non en bas au niveau du port comme le Mercure. Ensuite par la qualité de la rénovation, menée avec un goût subtil et sans lésiner sur les moyens : une décoration intérieure digne des plus beaux hôtels intimistes. Par la qualité du petit déjeuner aussi. Et par celle de l'accueil, qui vous fait immédiatement vous sentir comme à la maison. Sans oublier le jardin. Der Aufenthalt im Clos du Cèdre war rundum wunderbar. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Das grosszügige, stilvoll eingerichtete Zimmer, das wunderbar bequeme Bett und die gepflegte Gartenanlage haben uns besonders gut gefallen. Auch das köstliche Frühstück hat zu einem perfekten Aufenthalt beigetragen. Es fehlte wirklich an nichts – alles, was man sich für erholsame und angenehme Tage wünscht, war vorhanden. Je suis arrivée un peu plus tôt que prévu....une gentille dame m a proposée une boisson ce que j ai volontiers accepté....lorsque quelques instants plus tard un autre jeune homme est arrivé et m a demandé et vous...vous êtes ?...il m a dit sachez que pour ceux qui arrivent avant l heure soit 17h...nous sommes en droit de demander un supplément de 50€.... le ton glaçant m a fait déguerpir dans les 10 secondes. The property is perfectly placed in such a peaceful yet seconds from the main sights of Dinan centre-and hearing the church bells ring this morning was a wonderful way to wake up! Xavier and team were ever so helpful, letting arrive earlier to our room and helping us charge and store our electric bikes while we explored Dinan. We thank you very much. Everything about Clos du Cèdre is beautiful and it is the epitome of independent, boutique lodging. Our hostess, Anne-Marie, was warm and welcoming and anticipated our every need. Lovely breakfast spread—best yogurt I’ve ever eaten. Bathrooms, amenities and everything SO well thought of. The loveliest family runs the place. They were so kind, friendly and warm. We felt like family. On our last night, they allowed us to bring some dinner back to heat up. The lovely dining room was ours for the evening and was the perfect relaxing end to our stay. Breakfasts are such a treat. From the excellent facility quality to the friendly hospitality, all of my boxes were checked. - good location, close to everything in town - good off-site parking - large, comfortable, airy, bright, stylish room (Juliette Drouet) - comfortable bed - entire facility was spotless clean - warm welcome by owners Marion and Anne-Marie, including local recommendations (which proved to be spot on) - Anne-Marie greeted us every morning, provided an excellent breakfast, gave helpful info We are seasoned travelers, and are pretty picky about lodging. Miok R545 days agoThe best in town This was a small boutique hotel I would stay again and again if we ever went to Dinan again. The room we stayed was called "Juliette Drauet" over looking the park. Decorated tastefully and with care. Very classy and oh so comfortable bed and the shower was wonderful too. Now for the hostess, Anne-Marie was incredibly charming. She prepared the breakfasts every morning with freshest items on the table and made to order eggs, etc. She is the woman I really wished I could speak French to get to know better but still, so warm and gave us the best restaurants and sightseeing recommendations that we wouldn't have known if it weren't for her. Marion, her daughter, wasn't around much but also very helpful via what's app and was our communication source I would recommend this place highly for it was one of the best places we stayed and we have been to France now 6 timesPosted on Tripadvisor

Chaque chambre a une atmosphère différente. Tout a été restauré dans le respect de l'esprit du lieu et des éléments. Escalier en bois splendide. Belle salle commune mêlant tradition et modernité avec l'écran "peinture" permettant d'apprécier les tournois de foot. Philippe R672 days agoSuperbe maison d'hôtes idéalement située et décorée Cette magnifique maison d’hôtes décorée avec grand goût est idéalement située dans Dinan (en plein centre mais au calme entre la basilique et les remparts). Notre chambre baptisée Jeanne Malivel, sous charpente mais haute de plafond, comportait notamment un beau vitrail et une superbe vitre de séparation. Le petit-déjeuner est composé de produits de qualité dont une bonne partie faits maison. Les hôtes sont particulièrement chaleureux et accueillants. denis F683 days agoTrès bon séjour Le clos du cèdre est situé dans le quartier historique de Dinan. Son emplacement au pied du jardin anglais en fait un havre de paix. La bâtisse chargée d'histoire, réhabilitée avec goût par des propriétaires impliqués dans un projet tendant vers l'excellence et qui en feront sans aucun doute un lieu incontournable de la région. Tout ici est parfait La chambre est paradisiaque et que dire du petit-déjeuner qui est un enchantement. David S696 days agoFabulous small hotel Fabulous job by a family who has restored a glorious hold house. They showed tremendous attention to the remodeling and all the details. The family was incredibly hospitable, even taking us to the train station when it was pouring rain. Bravo!

What are the arrival and departure times?
Arrival is from 5pm to 8pm. You must vacate your room by 11am. If you need to arrive or leave at a different time, please contact us in advance.
Is breakfast included?
Yes, a home-cooked breakfast is included in the room rate. It is served between 8:30 and 10 a.m. in the dining room or in the garden, depending on the weather.
Do you offer dinner or table d’hôte?
At Le Clos du Cèdre, we offer cheese boards with charcuterie or vegetarian platters for dinner. You can order them the day before or the morning of your stay.
We also have a self-service wine and soft drinks list. Don’t forget to note your name, bottle and room number on the booklet.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed at Le Clos du Cèdre.
Is there on-site parking?
The parking lot is located 200 meters away, in a secure underground parking lot. A space will always be available, as these are season tickets. Even if the parking lot is full, you can park along the house fence to unload your luggage on arrival and departure. Please return the card on departure, otherwise €20 will be charged.
Does the room have Wi-Fi?
Yes, free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. We also have SMART TV Hotel mode to protect your personal data. The Wi-Fi code is displayed on the TV’s home screen or in your room’s welcome booklet.

Is Clos du Cèdre suitable for children?
Children under 8 are not admitted. Babies are accepted free of charge. The Juliette Drouet and Jeanne Malivel rooms can accommodate one child aged 8 to 16 in a comfortable extra bed. The additional cost is €80 per child per night.
